What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle driver position at Jack Giambalvo Motor Co Inc?
POSITION INFORMATION:
The Shuttle driver delivers customers to their work, home, or other location for the dealership. This is a part time position working 2-3 days per week. Approximately 25 hours per week.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shuttle customers to requested destination.
Pick up customers from requested location and shuttle them to the dealership.
Complete a log at the time of delivery.
Help maintain the professional appearance of the shuttle vehicle.
Wash outside of truck as needed
Be responsible for the basic upkeep of the shuttle vehicle: check oil with each fill-up, ensure that the vehicle is lubricated the first week of each month, and get annual state safety inspections before they are due.
Basic housekeeping, including but not limited to, trash removal, upkeep of beverage stations, and other general light building maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Valid driver's license and a good driving record. Ability to use computer and calculator. Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers and other contacts. Professional personal appearance.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is a physically demanding position. Will drive company-provided vehicles six to 8 hours per shift. Will be required to wear dealership-provided uniform at all times.
