What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Jack Pines Resort?
As a Server/Bartender at Jack Pines Cookhouse, you will be the face of our establishment, providing top-notch service to our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring that each guest has an enjoyable dining and drinking experience by offering friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the POS system.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Provide recommendations on food and drink selections to enhance the guest experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions securely.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies during the preparation and serving of beverages and food.
- Assist in restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other team members to ensure efficient service.
- Uphold a positive and professional demeanor, even during high-pressure situations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or bartender in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and mixology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
