Job Shift: Afternoon/Evening/Late Night ( Weekends)
Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Competently utilize all Full Deck kitchen stations and equipment.
- Work any station and/or shift as needed.
- Maintain product portion control.
- Utilize proper rotation techniques.
- Adhere to all safety procedures.
- Stock products as needed.
- Keep all areas clean and organized.
- Utilize proper sanitization techniques.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous line cooking experience preferred.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- Strong culinary and cooking station skills.
- Strong communication and team work skills.
- Accurate sense of timing.
- Knowledge of proper safety and sanitization practices.
- Ability to be dependable and self-motivated.
- Ability to produce consistently high-quality food products.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
- Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Mobility throughout the facility.
- High level of physical endurance.
- Good coordination and awareness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to twist, bend and squat frequently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
- Ability to tolerate heat and congestion in kitchen.
