Salary Range: $14.00 - $22.94 Hourly
Job Shift: Varies ( Weekends)
Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Greet and welcome guests.
- Learn and utilize seating chart.
- Seat guests in a smooth and organized manner.
- Clear and reset dining room tables.
- Utilize proper tray service.
- Know service procedures, menus, Micros operations and beverages.
- Follow all policies and procedures pertaining to responsible liquor service.
- Use suggestive selling.
- Perform housekeeping duties in dining room and service areas.
- Perform daily side work.
- Collect payment from guests using Micros computer.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous waitstaff experience.
- Previous cash handling experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Accurate cash handling skills.
- Waitstaff etiquette and service procedures.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
- Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Mobility throughout the facility.
- Frequent heavy lifting.
- Frequent bending and stooping.
- Able to move dining room furniture.
- Able to walk extensively.
