Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure a smoothly run shiftincluding food quality, service and safetyby utilizing proper management techniques.
- Delegate duties, and hold staff members accountable for their areas of responsibility.
- Conduct performance evaluations and wage increases according to policy.
- Assist in menu development.
- Advise supervisors on policies and procedures, and ensure implementation.
- Advise supervisors and others on calling, organization and safety techniques.
- Maintain good communication amongst kitchen staff.
- Fill in for Chefs when absent.
- Maintain continuous quality control.
- Control labor and food waste.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience working in a restaurant.
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
