Table Games Pit Boss

Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Report to Shift Leaders.
• Monitor assigned Pit section.
• Work with Pit Bosses in adjacent Pit sections.
• Track table counts in assigned area.
• Track player activity with Players Club cards.
• Maintain good customer relations.
• Solve problems which arise at the tables.
• Order table fills and credits as assigned.
• Complete all paperwork and computer work as assigned.
• Report all pertinent information to supervisors.
• Enforce Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Regular full-time status with a minimum of 18 months of experience as a Table Games Dealer.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sub-Pit Boss at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel.
• No coachings or disciplinary action on file within the past 12 months.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

• Demonstrated ability as a Sub-Pit Boss
• Proven awareness and ability to monitor games.
• Ability to work well with people.
• Good basic math skills.
• Ability to deal with changing situations and different problems.
• Knowledge of basic Windows applications and mouse use.

UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Mobility throughout pit area and facility.
• Ability to stand and reach for long periods of time.
• Vision correctable to 20/20.
• Hearing acuity of 90%.
