Jackpot Veterinary Center Companion Animal is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and experienced full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team!
We are a private, veterinarian owned and operated hospital with a focus on quality care for our patients and quality of life for our staff. We are a fast-paced, progressive animal hospital with both a large and small animal clinic on our beautiful property located in northwest Tucson.
Our modern practice has been outfitted with all the latest technology, including: digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in-house Idexx CBC/Chem analyzers, ultrasound, class IV laser, tonopen, Behr huggers, and more! We are able to provide excellent care and services for our patients and are supported by an exceptional team of veterinarians, certified technicians, assistants, and receptionists. Responsibilites for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Greet clients and visitors warmly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.
- Answer inquiries regarding services, pricing, appointment availability, and general pet care (not to include giving medical advice).
- Provide compassionate support and assistance to clients during difficult and emotional situations.
- Schedule appointments for veterinary consultations, examinations, vaccinations, and other services.
- Coordinate appointment times based on veterinarian availability and client preference.
- Remind clients of upcoming appointments via phone, email, or text message.
- Collect and record accurate information about clients and their pets including medical history, details about the pet, and contact information.
- Calculate and collect payments for veterinary services, products and medication.
- Collect necessary deposits for new client exams, same day urgent exams, and in-house procedures and surgeries.
- Reconcile cash drawers
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and faxing documents.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, email correspondence, and other communications.
- Enter client and patient data accurately into the Impromed Veterinary Software System.
- Maintain confidentiality of client records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
The position is full-time and requires a passion for working with both clients and patients! This postion consists of three twelve hour shifts every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. One year of prior veterinary experience is required. Please apply for immediate consideration!
