Our law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced office / operations manager to work closely with the firm’s managing partner in carrying out the administrative, business operations, and managerial facets of the firm. The ideal candidate will also have experience as a legal assistant, but not mandatory.
Compensation range is advisory only and will be commensurate with experience and skillset such that the ultimate compensation may differ greatly from the stated range.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing monthly fee invoices, issuing same to clients and ensuring timely payment.
- Processing payroll.
- Processing insurance, retirement, and other perquisite / benefit plans.
- Working closely with outside bookkeeping, accounting, IT, financial and legal professions on behalf of the firm.
- Carrying out HR functions such as processing PTO requests and bookings, addressing staffing matters, and onboarding / assimilating new employees to the firm.
- Working closely with legal asst / paralegal team on new client intakes, conflict checks, and scheduling consultations.
- Overseeing firm compliance with existing and new regulations (eg annual LLC, Supreme Court, ardc and other registrations and enrollments).
- Managing AP initiatives regarding expense and cost saving measures.
- Addressing office and technology efficiency mechanisms.
- Have relative knowledge of legal protocols on back office side.
- Client services (e.g. scheduling, client intake, etc.).
- Be good at working with groups in an established environment with a critical emphasis on high quality and existing team culture.
- Reliability and dependability in carrying out functions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
