- Job Duties:
- Monitors campers, follow camp schedule, encourage active participation, lead group activities.
- Respond to incidents such as behavior problems or accidents.
- Document events and maintain records, discuss concerns with parents.
- Report issues to Assistant Head Counselor and Head Counselor.
- Act as a constant encourager and role model for campers.
Minimum Qualifications:- Successful applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Comfortable working outdoors.
- Must attend training week plus work all 10 weeks that camp is open for the summer (40 hours a week).
- First aid/adult and child CPR certification is required prior to start of camp.
- Lifeguard certification desired.
- Must have completed High School or GED.
- Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug screen/background check.
