Genesis House & Studio is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations across our two luxury venues. This role reports to the Executive of Client Services and collaborates with the leadership team to support clients and guests in a fast-paced environment.
Working environment: On-Site
Salary range: $85,000 - $90,000, plus health benefits, 401(k), PTO
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of housekeeping, maintenance, repairs, and mechanics
- Manage third-party skilled trades and vendors
- Execute corrective, emergency, and preventive maintenance projects
- Coordinate with event teams for seamless logistics and operations
- Ensure compliance with safety measures and emergency preparedness
- Serve as liaison with building management and outside vendors
- Maintain facilities to company standards
Event Logistics
- Collaborate with event teams for seamless coordination of housekeeping and vendor activities
- Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures
- Remain available to solve problems and suggest alternatives
- Ensure staff and vendors understand event expectations and parameters
Core Activities
- Oversee maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
- Coordinate evacuation drills and emergency response training
- Collaborate with Event Programming, Guest Experience, and F&B managers
- Ensure timely completion of projects and react promptly to emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of successful supervisory experience in operational excellence
- Hands-on experience in system maintenance or mechanical repair
- Client/guest-oriented with a service mindset
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to make independent judgments and work under pressure
- Advanced knowledge of hand and power tools, testing equipment
Skills and Attributes
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Emotional intelligence and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and maintain floor presence at both centers
- Proficiency in Smartsheet and Excel
Working Conditions
