Jackson Dawson is looking to welcome a Program Manager (PM) with the goal of overseeing project(s) from client inception through completion, including management of ALL elements and deliverables. In this position, the projects are typically automotive retail training and customer experience initiatives. PM’s work in partnership with a cross functional team of accounts, production, event, broadcast, creative, art, digital development, call center, and video.
The PM is the primary point of contact for inter-departmental needs. PMs are tasked with setting, maintaining, and communicating deliverable timelines and finding creative resources to exceed client expectations. Projects typically involve in-person workshops, large events, and live virtual broadcast planning components so prior program management and/or event planning experience is necessary. PM’s must be comfortable with often ambiguous and shifting goals with projects and be able to adjust, as necessary. These are extremely creative and complex programs that require the highest level of discernment and inventive problem-solving.

Responsibilities
- Qualifying client and stakeholder requests and needs, anticipating questions and exceeding expectations
- Attending and (sometimes) leading internal and client meetings
- Communicating directly with clients keeping account in copy
- Creating and managing project timelines, and sometimes budgets
- Communicating needs, changes, requests, etc. to internal departments and external vendors
- Writing and editing of materials
- Assisting other departments, as necessary
- Managing collateral, gifting, props, and other materials, as necessary
- Client relations in the form of events, gifts, thank-you, meeting preparation, and other special touches
- Traveling to events is necessary to assist or adjust
- Collaborating and assisting with other client projects as necessary
- Attending internal meetings and brain-storming sessions
- Assisting in the interviewing, training, and on-boarding of additional staff
- Training facilitator relations and assistance
- Creating, generating, and managing reports and databases
- Creating and managing RFP’s
- Some small budgeting
- Duties as requested by Management
- 5 years of experience in a similar Project Manager position
- 2 years of experience in Live Events
- Resourceful/Solution-Oriented/ and Creative Problem-Solvers

- Able to multi-task or handle multiple initiatives at once
- Possess effective communication skills both client-facing and within departments
- Work well without supervision, be a self-starter
- Maintain tight schedules and current project documents
- Able to travel up to 25% of the time
- In office Dearborn up to 50% of the time
