POSITION SUMMARY:
The L&D Learning Coordinator plays a key administrative role in supporting the Vice President of Learning and Development with various tasks related to the organization's learning initiatives. This includes coordinating training events, assisting with reporting from Workday Learning Management System (LMS), managing calendars, following project management workflows, managing travel arrangements, and processing expense reports for the Fostering Leaders Program (FLP) and other key department initiatives. The Learning Coordinator will be involved in many aspects of an Associate’s learning process, including but not limited to scheduling and assigning courses for FLP, for Jackson Healthcare University (JHU), processing surveys, and running reports. The Learning Coordinator will be involved in simultaneous, high-stakes initiatives as we serve the learning needs across our Family of Companies.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Vice President of Learning and Development with administrative duties related to training logistics, calendar scheduling, project management workflows, communications, and reporting.
- Manage training logistics, including securing rooms or venues, planning meals, and ensuring necessary materials are prepared.
- Schedule and coordinate training events, and confirm attendance, ensuring alignment with the availability of Associates, Trainers, and other Learning stakeholders. As well as scheduling of travel arrangements.
- Assist with coordinating learning initiatives across multiple departments and companies within the organization, as needed.
- Support the processing of expenses related to department programs and events, learning workshops, vendor agreements, and travel expenses, ensuring timely and accurate submission and reconciliation.
- Maintain up-to-date records for all learning and development programs, including training schedules, participant rosters, and feedback.
- Assist with Workday Learning Management System (LMS) tasks, including but not limited to uploading course materials, monitoring course enrollments, and generating reports.
- Manage and update training calendars across multiple platforms, ensuring visibility across Family of Companies.
- Respond to inquiries and provide support to associates regarding training events, logistics, and general learning-related queries.
- Support the implementation of new learning technologies, tools, and platforms, as needed, to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of training programs.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks related to learning and development as needed across the family of companies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience might be considered.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role, preferably within Learning and Development, Human Resources, or in a Training-related department
- Workday or Learning Management System (LMS) experience, a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Certifications / Coursework:
- Certification or coursework in Learning and Development or Project Management is desirable, but not required.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Up to 10% travel required: Occasional travel may be required, primarily for training events. Travel is expected to be infrequent, but flexibility may be necessary based on project needs.
- This position is primarily office-based, with some potential for working remotely.
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate training events in different time zones.
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; write; type; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear.
