Responsibilities
- Process title work/documents for state registration, follow the proper paperwork and ensure that tax and title documents are also completed.
- Check for completeness and signatures on all required parts of forms. Additionally, check for accuracy of vehicle sale and purchase prices.
- Prepare title work for sold vehicles and submit to the applicable DMV.
- Maintain vehicle titles (used vehicles) and MSO’s (new vehicles) for inventory.
- Maintain a file of sales, prices, payments, warranties, service contracts and other pertinent information related to the sale or transfer of a vehicle.
- Contact lien holders for status updates on titles and liens.
- Complete regular title audits for inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Automotive experience preferred
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Problem solving mindset and initiative
- Willingness to take initiative to meet personal deadlines and help other team members to do the same
- Eagerness to improve individual performance
- Computer literacy, quality handwriting and grammar skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks easily, and appropriately prioritize
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Work with all levels of employees
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
