What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Chef position at Jackson Hole Playhouse?
THE HISTORIC JACKSON HOLE PLAYHOUSE in Downtown Jackson Hole, Wyoming is looking for a Head Chef for the summer, fall, and winter season in our Dinner Theater venue.
The schedule for the summer would be 6 days a week (off on Sundays), approximately 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Opening is on May 30th, with a soft opening dinner service on May 29th.
Schedules for the fall and winter seasons are determined at a later date.
Dinner seating is at 6:00 PM for a catered dinner in the Saddle Rock Saloon for roughly 75 people before the 8:00 PM performance.
Payroll begins at $1,200 to $1,500.00 per week, including housing and transportation if need be.
We are looking to collaborate on a themed menu for "The Ballad of Cat Ballou" starting as soon as possible.
Looking for an employee with the following skills: plating food quickly and effectively, spectacular plate presentation, budgeting, kitchen management, operating in a smaller kitchen, efficient ordering, daily cooking, managing employees, cleaning schedules, rotating specials, and maintaining solid communication with front of house staff and management in the Saloon.
