Seasonal Recruiting Intern

Duration : April 2025 – August 2025 (dates are flexible)
Jackson Walker, Texas’ largest law firm, is seeking motivated and energetic college students to join our Associate Recruiting Department in our Austin, Dallas, and Houston offices for the summer of 2025. The Seasonal Recruiting Intern will have the opportunity to assist with the strategic planning, execution, and management of the law school recruiting and lateral associate hiring programs. Interns may begin employment in April or by May 5, 2025, and conclude in August 2025. Availability for overtime to execute and attend evening and weekend events is required. This is an exciting opportunity to network with legal professionals and industry leaders while gaining valuable experience in legal recruiting and talent acquisition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist with the coordination and execution of summer associate program and on-campus recruiting program.
- Coordinate with event venues and catering companies.
- Assist with scheduling, expense reimbursements, special projects, event planning, and day of event execution.
- Draft correspondence, letters, and reports. Assist with printing nametags, making copies, mailing, and filing.
- Assist Recruiting Manager with 2L law student recruiting by preparing lawyers for interviews and interview programs; reviewing applicant resumes and transcripts; assisting with coordination for interviews of candidates.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to recruiting activities.
- Assist with projects and reports for the lateral associate recruiting team.
- Protect and maintain any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and / or proprietary information of the Firm.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
