We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team on a temporary/contract* basis. In this role, you will support month-end close, financial reporting, and general accounting functions. • Prepare general ledger entries• Prepare general ledger account reconciliation• Prepare and review monthly profit and loss statements• Prepare various excise tax returns• Prepare year end (and interim) work papers• Other duties and special projects as needed You’ll be a great fit if you have:
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and or commensurate with experience in accounting is required• Experience with computers and demonstrated skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook• The ability to work within a fast-paced environment where teamwork is essential• A history of effectively working independently or as a team• A high degree of accuracy, while meeting regular deadlines • Practiced in effectively communicating with all levels of the organization• A history of being a reliable professional with an eye for detail• Strong skills in data analysis, organization, problem-solving, and computer applications Physical Requirements:
The work may be done in a sitting position with no excessive lifting, pulling, or pushing, and limited twisting, bending, and stooping. While performing the duties of this job, there is required use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms.
