About the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League’s AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, playing their first regular season home game on Sept. 3, 1995, in Jacksonville, Fla., and have since won four division titles. Summary
The Community Impact Seasonal Assistant is responsible for assistance with planning, logistics and activations for all Jaguars PREP (youth football) initiatives and Jaguars Foundation activations during the season.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist and support all Jaguars PREP events (11ON, Fantasy Camp, Gameday Combine, etc.)
- Assist and support all Jaguars Foundation and NFL initiatives (Crucial Catch, Salute to Service, My Cause My Cleats, etc.).
- Game day preparation, including securing all supplies needed, preparing supplies and equipment for game day activations, moving equipment and supplies (kiosks, tables, coolers, combine stations, etc.), and returning items post-game.
- Assist with community donations. Prepare and distribute and/or mail out care packages, auction items, and other donations.
- Manage storage spaces and inventories of various items.
- Oversee Coach and Player of the Week program.
- Coordinate Community Corner at Training Camp.
Job Requirements
- Experience working with youth in sports programs
- Good standing driving record and current driver’s license
- Able to lift up to 50lbs or more
- Comfortable leading and speaking to large groups of youth and adults
- Basic knowledge of football strategy and skill fundamentals
- Basic social media skills and serve as department’s backup photographer
- Well organized and able to multitask
- Strong communication skills, including writing
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
