About the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League’s AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, playing their first regular season home game on Sept. 3, 1995, in Jacksonville, Fla., and have since won four division titles. The Jaguars are owned by Shahid Khan, a visionary leader whose businesses include Flex-N-Gate, Fulham Football Club, All Elite Wrestling, Bold Events and Iguana Investments. Since 2012, Mr. Khan’s impact on the Northeast Florida community has exceeded $500 million, including charitable giving through the Jaguars Foundation, capital improvements to EverBank Stadium and the creation of Daily’s Place, which hosts upwards of 40 concerts a year.  The Jaguars and Iguana Investments opened the Miller Electric Center, a state-of-the-art sports performance center in 2023, which now houses all of football operations for the Jaguars, including players, coaches and other personnel. Over the next several years, the Jaguars and Iguana Investments will complete Phase 1 of the Jacksonville Shipyards, a reimagination of the riverfront which will include a Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences, an office building inclusive of the Jaguars front office headquarters, and a modernized marina and support building, as well as begin additional projects to transform the area around the stadium into a year-round, mixed-use sports and entertainment district.
 
In 2024, the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville announced plans to move forward with a reimagined Stadium of the Future, securingJaguars football in Jacksonville for generations to come, plus a continuation of annual traditions of the Florida-Georgia Football Classic and TaxSlayer Gator Bowl while also opening opportunities for future Super Bowls, Final Four tournaments, college football playoffs, marquee concerts and more. Using research derived from Jaguars fans, stadium guests and a comprehensive assessment of the facility's structure, the Stadium of the Future will be a world-class venue for a world-class city that showcases a facility that is environmentally friendly, cost effective and presents state-of-the-art innovation. The Stadium of the Future features a protective canopy, wider concourses, new communal spaces, scenic lookout decks, immersive in-bowl technology, new seating types and a public Floridian nature park.

Summary
The Events & Entertainment Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of events and game day entertainment elements that will elevate the Jaguars brand by creating a lasting impact for our fans through meaningful and memorable experiences. 
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and execution of game day presentation and entertainment
  • Help with the booking and scheduling of all entertainment, including national anthem performers, flyovers, color guards, pre-game and halftime shows, special guests/ honorees, sponsor contests, on-field presentations and promotions, and other game day entertainment needs
  • Coordinate game day logistics. This includes entertainment transportation, tickets, parking, credentials, meals, equipment storage, staging areas, and more
  • One of the on-field producers for all game day entertainment, including pre-game presentations, player introductions, sponsor promotions, flyovers, and halftime activities
  • Work closely with all military branches to create and maintain a strong relationship between the team and the military. Projects include coordinating welcoming troops home form oversees, creating recruitment opportunities at the stadium, recognizing troops and veterans on the field, scheduling reenlistments and enlistment ceremonies, booking flyovers and color guards, etc.
  • Work with the Director of Entertainment Groups & Grassroot Events to integrate The ROAR of the Jaguars, Jaxson de Ville, D-Line and JAX Pack into the overall game day entertainment strategy
  • Collaborate with partnerships, member relations, group sales and community teams on the execution of in-game activations and ancillary asset creation
  • Find ways to highlight Jacksonville’s local elements to enhance the game entertainment’s unique experience to our market
  • Collaborate with partnership on the development of sponsor friendly and entertaining inventory for game day
  • Work in partnership with other internal departments to find creative ways to execute a cohesive game day experience through various league-driven and team-driven themes
  • Drive innovation into the entertainment experience by coming up with unique and socially relevant content for game days
  • Research the latest trends and technology to continue to enhance the game presentation experience
  • Evaluate fan feedback and metrics to adjust our game entertainment strategy to provide our fans the best possible experience at EverBank Stadium as well as a home field advantage for our team
  • Work closely with stadium partners and other team personnel in coordinating logistics, staffing and all other appropriate needs to make sure all events and game day run smoothly
  • Produce, manage, and execute Jaguars signature events as assigned, including Draft Party, Training Camp, Stadium Practice, etc.  
  • Support the other internal departments in planning and executing events that help fulfill their business objectives. Serves as a resource to assist in event design and implementation
  • Initiate billing, invoicing, and other financial matters pertaining to game day with the confines of a pre-determined budget unless otherwise approved by Jaguars management
  • Contribute to overseeing Seasonal Events & Entertainment Assistants and help provide direction to the Game Day Staff
 
Job Requirements
Required
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills with superior attention to detail
  • Team-oriented mentality
  • Ability to establish priorities and manage time effectively
  • Experience in any aspects of event production with the ability to multitask and succeed in a demanding environment with tight deadlines and a high level of accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to independently resolve issues and manage problems and conflicts successfully
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Prolific knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Office)
 
Preferred
  • Combination of office work and practical work experience is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in events, entertainment, or game day production
