Runner/Expo

The Runner & Expo position supports the Wheelhouse Kitchen and the Right Field Hall Kitchen by being the liaison between the orders rung in and printed from the bartenders and the kitchen staff preparing the food. Upon arrival, the expo would report to their assigned kitchen and assist with preparing condiments, to-go boxes and plates, side items, and other tasks. Upon the start of service, the expo receives the printed order tickets from the printer and hands off to the kitchen lead. Some kitchen leads might ask for the expo to announce the order and then hand off the ticket. After the order is completed, the expo checks for accuracy and then takes the order to the pickup window, where they alert the customer by using the pager system. 

The expo position is vital to the smooth operation of a kitchen and is a great opportunity to learn about the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate is available starting 3 hours before the first pitch of a given gameday. No specific food and beverage experience needed but interest in the industry or being in a communicative position is encouraged.
