Our quickly growing law firm is looking to hire an experienced Litigation Paralegal. We are looking for individuals who learn quickly, work well under pressure, and are personable. Our personal injury law firm specializes in auto accidents and we predominantly work with Spanish speaking clientele. We are looking for someone who cares about people and making sure that our clients get the legal representation they deserve. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will provide support to attorneys during all phases of the litigation process. This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of legal procedures. We pride ourselves on having a great work environment and are looking to find a great addition to our litigation team!
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Transcribe dictations and prepare accurate written summaries
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the litigation process
- Schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials
- Manage document management systems and databases
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
Skills/qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in legal drafting and formatting documents
- Knowledge of legal research methods and resources
- Familiarity with document management systems and electronic discovery processes
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
