Jacob's Pickles newest full service restaurant in South Norwalk, Connecticut is ready to start building a team of hospitality driven professionals. Representing the “Best of Southern” cuisine, Jacob’s Pickles offers signature Southern comfort food and warm hospitality. Floor Manager Job Description
The candidate must be driven to lead, nurture and motivate a high performing team:
- Should have top industry experience and the ability to raise our already high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
- 2 years of operational restaurant management experience (front of the house)
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to the hospitality industry.
- Has and influential philosophy leadership and floor management presence based on mutual respect and organization coupled with strong business acumen.
- Lives the hospitality quotient and necessary communication skills. Cultivating and continuously improving guest rapport with new guests as well as our returning guests.
- The ability to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure while understanding the principles of People, Product and Process.
- Adheres to guidelines with regard to company standards.
- Strong computer and reservation/table management skills; Toast, Resy, 7shifts
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
- Certification by ServSafe required, Cicerone and T.I.P.S. is a huge plus.
- Must have a flexible schedule and available to work nights and weekends
