The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet guests immediately, guide them through the ordering process, while demonstrating genuine hospitality
- Make all coffee beverages in accordance with Starbucks and J Resort standards
- Accurately record food orders ensuring each Guest receives their meal to their exact specifications
- Ensure all food and beverages are served promptly, garnished correctly, and meet the J Resort standard of excellence
- Demonstrate a guest-first mindset by placing a high priority on the guest experience.
- Effectively communicate with our guests and other Team Members
- Be knowledgeable of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of counters. work areas, shelving, and storage areas
- Stock coolers and displays with product in adherence to par levels
- Checks identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol and follows the Nevada Alcohol Awareness Procedures and the J Resort Company Policies
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations; includes the ability to respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly
- Perform all opening, side work, and closing duties
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- Basic computer skills
- Food preparation experience helpful, but not required
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
