Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a Human Resources Administrator for the All-New J Resort. The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. The J has a unique blend of original art, live music, bold flavors, luxurious accommodations, and exciting casino action…And we are just getting started!

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Timely and accurately enter and maintain HRIS data on new hires, merit increases, promotions, employee evaluations, and gaming licenses
  • Process PAN’s and BCR’s weekly
  • Co-Administration, audit & reconciliation of payroll and time keeping operations
  • Current knowledge of federal, state and local regulations and established company policies and procedures
  • Be a resource to the employees with questions or concerns about HR policies, procedures and benefits
  • Conduct benefit enrollment meetings including open enrollment support
  • Answer and redirect incoming calls as appropriate and handle all incoming/outgoing mail daily
  • Run reports and track recognition and compliance programs such as the birthday list, annual reviews, incentives and gaming license compliance etc.
  • Maintain all HR Personnel and Medical files for employees
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information
  • Other projects or assignments may be requested

 

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

  • Must be literate and fluent in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, clients, customers, the general public and employees
  • Minimum High School diploma with three years’ experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must possess a valid Nevada Gaming License
  • Identification that establishes identity
  • Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
