Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintains an awareness of all current and updated regulations, controls, policies and standards with State and Company requirements
- Supervises the observation of gaming and non-gaming operations to ensure compliance with established Company and state rules, regulations, policies, procedures and standards
- Reports any violation, suspicious or unusual activity to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
- Supervises the investigation and documentation of gaming violations and other activities in conjunction with appropriate personnel
- Ensures the thorough review of all surveillance reports and forwards to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
- Maintains the security of designated areas and the confidentiality of all relevant information
- Interface with Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. and other Company contacts regarding requests of surveillance
- Employee assistance/mentoring including training, discipline, commendations, reviews, trouble shooting, scheduling, payroll and coordination thereof
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Excels in retaining and recalling information
- Minimum 3 years of casino gaming supervisor level experience, preferably in security or surveillance
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with computer related systems
- Strong working knowledge of the Aviation VMS system
- Excels in resolving conflict
- Knowledge of Table Games required and training experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge and experience using Itrak
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Knowledge of Nevada Gaming regulations
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
- Must possess a valid Nevada Gaming License
- Identification that establishes identity
