Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Slot Manager--Gameco” for Cash Magic—Lafayette. The Louisiana Cash Magic Truck Plaza & Casino incorporates 27 video gaming facilities situated throughout the state. Each site features a convenience store, fueling operations, a restaurant and up to 50 poker machines. The video gaming machines are in a separate gaming room that offers a casino-like atmosphere and provides the road weary traveler an exciting break from the highways.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Observes slot department employees during the performance of their duties to ensure a high level of competency, and performance
- Create and modify slot tech schedule for optimum staffing coverage and ensuring slot projects are completed timely and accurately
- Develop and monitor a parts inventory system
- Monitor, instruct, and enforce all slot department employees regarding the observance of Gaming Regulations and internal policy
- Develops and recommends changes to Policies and Procedures when necessary and follows through with the application of them
- Coordinate, organize, and execute Slot department training procedures to develop staff
- Partners with JDO representative to review, recommend, and advise Senior Management regarding the acquisition of slot related products and equipment and services
- Organize, coordinate, and executes machine moves with JDO representative, and Lead Slot Techs
- Provide and promote premium levels of customer service by providing direction and answers concerning any of the slot team issues
- Performs additional assignments and duties not covered to ensure the continuation of casino operations
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of your job
- Work directly with compliance, Revenue audit, and JDO representative to ensure compliance of gaming devices
- Oversee projects, issue workloads and assist as needed in support of casino operations
- Parts ordering
- Compliance checks and updates
- Other related duties including but not limited to complying with all necessary standards set forth by the Louisiana State Police Gaming Division (Video Poker Permit Card – Technician II)
- Supervision of Slot Technicians
- Weekly task list and slot tech scheduling for training
- Scheduling upcoming events with vendors and upper Management
- Assist slot techs with troubleshooting machines ensuring slot floor is operational
- Verify slot devices are in compliance with LSP Gaming Division
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, gaming documents and troubleshooting manuals
- Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work well with others and under stressful conditions
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience required
- 2 years supervisor experience in slot department
- Prior slot technician experience
- Computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Identification that establishes identity
