Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manages, supervises, and coordinates all work activities for the property
- Assists in the managing of all aspects of the property including but not limited to: Slots, Table Games, Sportsbook, Beverage, food, Hotel and EVS operation
- Assists in managing Gaming Operations staff
- Assists in administrative responsibilities assigned by Gaming Operation Managers
- Approve check overrides and sign Jackpot checks up to the approved limit
- Assists in management of all team members for day to day and long-term operations
- Notifies casino manager of any suspicious or unusual activity and/or transactions in a timely and responsible manner
- Familiarization with all Jacobs Entertainment programs policies and procedures
- Assists in the responsibility of the overall integrity of daily operations, ensures compliance with all Gaming regulatory, internal controls, Liquor and Beer codes, Federal and IRS Reporting requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, and Company Policies
- Builds guest relations through visibility to customer, soliciting/requesting feedback, and responding to guest concerns appropriately and professionally to resolve any issues
- Must possess operational knowledge of all properties in Colorado jurisdiction
- Will take on the role of Casino Manager when the Manager is not on property or not available
- Other related duties including but not limited to complying with the following: Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English
- High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred
- 3 years in a Casino Operations leadership Role
- Knowledge of key Slot, Cage, Beverage, and Table Game systems to effectively manage daily operations
- Must be proficient in both Slot and Table Game procedures and policies--training will be provided so long as proficiency is already present for at least one of the areas
- Ability to identify potential control deficiencies and/or advantage players and report to surveillance and the Casino Manager
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Colorado Key Gaming License
- Must have strong knowledge of Colorado Gaming Regulations and ICMP’s
- Must have knowledge of alcohol beverage control regulations
- Must be competent in Microsoft suite of products
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
