Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to food and beverage operations, including sales trends, customer preferences, and inventory levels
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to senior management
- Identify areas for operational improvement through data-driven analysis and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage across all food and beverage outlets, balancing business needs with labor costs
- Monitor and forecast labor demands based on historical data, special events, and seasonal trends
- Collaborate with department managers to address staffing needs, manage shift changes, and reduce labor costs without compromising service quality
- Assist in the development and management of the department’s budget, focusing on labor and resource allocation
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for budget adjustments
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies in scheduling practices
- Work closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team to support operational initiatives, including inventory management, menu planning, and customer service improvements
- Provide training and support to team members on scheduling software, data reporting tools, and analytics methodologies
- Act as a liaison between the Food and Beverage department and other departments, such as Finance and Human Resources, to align on key performance metrics and operational goals
- Other related duties including but not limited to complying with the following; Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Cognos) to drive decision-making
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Familiarity with scheduling software and workforce management tools is a plus
- Effective communication skills with the ability to delegate responsibility in pursuit of common goals
- Ability to read and analyze financial and non-financial reports to reach informed decisions
- Thorough knowledge of all facets of the gaming business
- Thorough knowledge of general business practices and strategic planning
- These skills are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business along with 3 years experience in a data analysis, scheduling, or operations management role, preferably within the food and beverage industry
- Must possess a valid Colorado Gaming License
