Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accurately handle large sums of cash
- Assist in training new employees
- Coordinate all cage transactions, complete all cage paperwork
- Maintains Coin Room Inventory in compliance with Gaming
- Maintains and controls paperwork throughout the shift
- May prepare the daily bank deposit of currency, checks, coin, and other items
- Restocks all other cashier banks with necessary currency and coin
- Maintain familiarity with the internal Company expectations and procedures
- Maintain familiarity with Gaming Regulations and ICMP’s
- Submits daily paperwork from shift to Revenue Audit at completion of shift.
- Verifies or coordinates the verification of hard and soft counts into the Coin Room Inventory
- Assumes the responsibility for the controlling and accounting activity within the Cage
- Ensure proper equipment operation and maintain supply inventory
- Other related duties including but not limited to complying with the following: Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Must have understanding of accounting procedures
- Must be knowledgeable of Gaming Regulations and Internal Control Minimum Procedures (ICMP’s) that affect Cage operations
- Must be familiar with basic computer operations
- Must be fluent in English
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
- Previous cash handling experience
- Previous casino cage experience is preferred
- Must possess a valid Colorado Gaming License
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
