Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Dishwasher” for Windows on the River. Spectacular inside and out, Windows on the River prepares and presents gourmet cuisine in a dramatic yet comfortable setting with dazzling views of Cleveland’s unique signature bridges and sparkling skyline. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Cleans all back of the house areas, including kitchen, restaurant, food storage and trash handling areas
- Cleans china, glass, silverware, cooking equipment, utensils, pots, and pans
- Scrapes dishes, collecting and transporting waste and garbage
- Returns clean items to proper preparation area
- Cleans floor drains
- Follows sanitary and proper food handling procedures
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of your job
- Performs general weekly or monthly maintenance as deemed necessary by kitchen management
- Assists with back of the house supply and clean up as needed
- Maintain dish room and dish machine.
- Ensure that all dishes are free of debris and spots before returning to wait stations
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Basic Reading and Writing skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
- Six months experience dishwashing and food preparation in a large volume food establishment helpful
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
