We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our staff at Jacobsen & Company, LLP. In this role, you will provide essential support to our accounting professionals while ensuring smooth office operations. Your contributions will be vital in helping us deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
- Collate tax returns for businesses, nonprofit, and individuals.
- Assist with accounts receivable functions, including preparing invoices, preparing service agreements, entering deposits, and preparing statements.
- Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records of client information.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before submission.
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing office materials.
- Respond to client inquiries with excellent customer service skills.
- Manage office supplies inventory and order as needed.
- Assist in providing bookkeeping and payroll services to clients.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
- Proven experience in clerical or administrative roles is preferred.
- Proven experience with payroll and bookkeeping tasks is preferred.
- Associate degree in accounting is a plus.
