Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor/Social Media Marketer to join JUST A DAD on YouTube at JAD Marketing LLC. You will be responsible for editing video content that aligns with our brand’s vision and engages our audience effectively and handle all social media marketing on all major platforms.
Duties
- Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring a seamless flow of content that captivates viewers.
- Collaborate with the production team to understand project goals and provide assistance when needed.
- Add highlights for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
- Conduct post-production tasks including color correction, sound editing, and final rendering.
- Assist in content creation by providing creative input during brainstorming sessions.
- Maintain an organized workflow by managing files and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in video editing and production.
- Post on TikTok, Instagram Shop; manage Facebook pages; understand TikTok Live Streams; understand Shopify
Qualifications
- Proven experience in film or video production and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in video editing software
- Familiarity with photography principles is a plus, enhancing your ability to create visually appealing content.
- Be familiar with all social media platforms
- Strong understanding of post-production processes, including audio mixing and color grading.
- Strong problem solving skills and self motivator
