Salary: $16.50 days 7am-3pm, $18.15 nights 3pm-11pm
Company Description: Jaeger USA, Inc. manufactures and sells custom private label components for the Construction and Shoe, Leather, and Textile Industries as well as Toll Coating Capabilities.
Job Summary: The Manufacturing Worker position performs general manufacturing work that may involve job responsibilities throughout the factory, but primarily in Corner production (thermo-forming, die cutting, and printing) and Packing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various duties as assigned.
- Maintain all safety standards.
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
- Understand and follow product specific instructions to generate custom items.
- Form Corners.
- Pick and confirm orders efficiently and accurately.
- Pack orders efficiently and correctly to prevent damage.
- Ticket or label orders as specified.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout shift and at the end of the shift.
- Report any conditions that need attention to the appropriate manager.
- Keep accurate records of material and equipment parameters.
- Learn the safety features of the machine.
- Read work orders and verify that the correct material is used.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- Must have basic math skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Must be able to work as part of a team to increase efficiency and accuracy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.15 per hour
