Jaffrey Rehab is now offering sponshorship to qualified LNAs to obtain their LMA certification. Please note that you must already be a licensed LNA for a period of two years before you qualify to earn LMA certification. The program is offered through LNA Health Careers and includes an online classroom, skills labs, and clinical training. If selected, there is no cost to participate in the training, Jaffrey Rehab will cover the cost of the class. Upon successful completion of the program and obtaining your LMA certification, graduates will work a full- or part-time position (at least 3 shifts per week) as an LNA at Jaffrey Rehab and Nursing Center in Jaffrey, NH.
Paid MNA Training
- Classroom training is online utilizing the computer and classroom at Jaffrey Rehab
- Choose a Lab/clinical training from a variety of convenient locations
- Jaffrey Rehab provides payment to LNA Health Careers for selected candidates
- LMA Candidate agrees to work full- or part-time, at least 3 shifts per week, on 7-3 or 3-11 upon graduation from the class
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Administer medications as ordered by the attending physician, under direction of the attending physician and licensed nurse in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
· Follow established pharmacy policies and procedures in administering medications and narcotics.
· Ensure that no medication is administered without a written, signed, dated order from an attending licensed practitioner.
· Provide accurate and timely documentation of scheduled and PRN medications.
· Perform controlled substance count at the beginning and end of each shift worked. Complete and sign the Narcotic Book. Immediately report any discrepancies to the nursing supervisor.
· Assist residents with dressing/undressing, daily dental/mouth care, eye/ear care, bowel and bladder functions, hair/nail care and daily bathing/skin care functions.
· Accurately document daily care delivered on the LNA flow sheet. Provide other accurate and timely documentation as requested for bladder diaries, resident weights and meal and fluid intakes.
· Provide restorative care following residents care plan. Document and report resident abilities and progress toward goal achievement. Assist residents to ambulate with or without self-help devices as instructed.
