The Jaffrey Rindge Cooperative School District office of Student Services is seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of School Psychologist for the 2025-2026School Year. This position is pivotal for evaluating learners suspected of having educational disabilities Job description:
*Masters and/or advanced graduate specialist degree in school psychology
*Certified through the New Hampshire Department of Education as a School Psychologist or licensed
through the New Hampshire Board of Mental Health
*Skills, competencies and knowledge in data-based decision making, accountability, consultation and
collaboration
*Ability to interact effectively in a school setting by understanding systems, roles, curriculum,
instruction, and assessment
*Strong understanding of the diversity of human development and learning differences including
factors that impact a student's learning
*Thorough knowledge of methods of evaluations using nationally recognized professional domains of
practice for school psychologists
*Strong communication skills through a variety of modalities (verbal, written, technology, etc.)
*Conduct, interpret, and communicate the findings of evaluations of students including but not limited
to: intellectual ability, cognitive processing, academic achievement, behavior, functional behavioral assessments, social and emotional
functioning, learning environments, and adaptive functioning
*Participate in team meetings, including Individualized Education Plans and 504 meetings
*Support staff to design, implement, monitor and adapt instructional and behavioral supports and
interventions
* Support the development and implementation of mental health interventions
* Promote multi-tiered systems of support
* Contribute to program development that furthers the integration of social and mental health supports
in the classroom
* Collaborate with school staff, students, parents, and community agencies
* Keep updated on synthesizing and applying new research and evaluative tools using nationally
recognized professional domains of practice
* Adhere to ethical, legal and professional standards
* Provide and/or assist in professional development for staff, parents, and/or community
* Participate in professional growth activities
* Participate in building and District-level programs and activities as appropriate
