Job Summary
Schedule: Mon-Thu (2:00pm-12:30am)
We are seeking an assembly technician who will be responsible for working as part of a team to assemble switchgear.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read, review and identify issues on blueprints and wiring schematics
- Assemble job, according to job specifications
- Use power and hand tools to cut, strip and crimp wire
- Use power tools to cut and fabricate sheet metal and conduit
- Collaborate with team members to ensure job completion
- Follow all safety procedures including proper use of PPE when required
- Ensure production area is clean and organized
- Other duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong technical skills
- OSHA 10 hour course preferred, not required
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
Working Conditions:
- Bending, kneeling, crouching
- Working in confined spaces
- Loud noises
- Ability to team lift up to 100 lbs.
- Working with ladders up to height of 12 feet
