As the North America Performance Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving and evangelizing performance marketing excellence on behalf of the NA region. You will implement and run the global performance marketing operating model in North America, bringing together regional Media, Social, Website, CRO, eCommerce, CRM, and Sales Operations teams to deliver optimizations to maximize business performance. You will serve as primary liaison to the global Performance Marketing center of excellence, representing the North America region from the perspectives of reporting, advocacy, championing of requirements, and showcasing of best practices.
This role is based in JLRNA HQ of Mahwah, NJ, but reports directly into the Global Head of Performance Marketing in UK with a dotted line into the Director, Digital & Performance Marketing in the US.
What you will be doing:
- Run the performance marketing operating model process for North America, bringing together Media, Social, website, CRO, ecommerce, CRM, and sales operations teams to deliver optimizations to drive business performance.
- Implement and manage the global daily rhythm of performance marketing stand ups with local performance insight and demonstrate the breadth of work across the business that is delivering a fully optimized customer journey. The Performance Marketing process leads, analyzes, tracks and reports on all marketing performance metrics to continuously improve marketing campaigns, with an emphasis on the websites and media targeting, but also including other marketing elements such as creative assets, web copy, email campaigns, and social media posts.
- Be the North America champion for the global performance marketing reporting suite, utilizing reports for planning and performance review meetings, and feeding in local requirements.
- Responsible for tracking all performance marketing optimizations and coordinating the sharing of results in local and global trading meetings.
- Own the tracking and maximization of each step of the customer funnel and shopping journey.
- Partner with a regional team of media specialist to track and monitor marketing performance against the market's overall targets and regionalize the global Performance Media strategy for North America across Search, Social and Programmatic media plans.
- Analyze, monitor, and report on all regional campaigns, developing clear takeaways on channel effectiveness, next steps, and potential optimizations.
- Embed the global KPI framework that champions growth and drives incremental performance into North America.
- Collaborate closely with the sales department to align marketing initiatives with lead generation and revenue goals on a national and market level, and on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis, in effort to articulate the commercial impact of all performance marketing activities in North America.
- Own the implementation of advanced marketing measurement and analytics projects such as MMM and MTA as well as development and optimization of customer target segments with evolving insights.
- Build regional relationships with key digital media partners such as Google and Meta.
- Perform other duties as required.
What you will need:
- Bachelor-s degree in marketing, business, analytics, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing, sales optimization, or marketing analytics.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful media and digital marketing operations and campaigns across multiple channels (e.g. digital media, SEO).
- Obsession for tracking and optimizing a digital shopping journey optimization process.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions. Experience with advanced marketing measurement / analytics preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive/luxury brand marketing space as well as automotive digital shopping journey strongly preferred.
- Commercial mindset and orientation toward driving conversion/revenue.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Political savviness and ability to lead by influence.
