Outside Sales Representative - Jakes Dumpsters LLC
Drive Business Growth in Commercial Waste Management Solutions
Jakes Dumpsters LLC is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll generate new business for our full range of waste management solutions including front load dumpsters, roll-off dumpsters, and compactors.
What You'll Do:
- Spend 80% of your time in the field, actively prospecting and exploring market opportunities in your designated territory
- Prepare professional proposals and execute strategic cold calls to secure new appointments
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing commercial and industrial clients
- Utilize our Salesforce-driven CRM tool to manage your sales pipeline effectively
- Conduct waste stream analyses to recommend optimal solutions and identify recycling opportunities
- Represent Jakes Dumpsters at trade shows, chamber events, and other networking opportunities
- Gather contract expiration dates and work cross-functionally to address customer needs
- Drive customer retention through contract re-signs and relationship management
What You Bring:
- 2 years of B2B outside sales experience (preferred)
- Essential: Background in the solid waste industry
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in the field
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
