What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager/ Outside Sales position at Tri-State Valve LLC?
Provide friendly and positive interaction for all customers calling and communicating with the company. Promote professional communication in all aspects and in all areas. Work to obtain the best solution for the customer. Work with all customers in assigned territory to understand customer processes, procedures, and products manufactured. Become knowledgeable on the products assigned. Take a pro-active approach to understanding the products and competition. Work with Inside Sales on quotes to maximize profitability.
Essential Functions
- Make sales outside of the office in assigned territory
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.
Tri-State Valve, LLC has an immediate opening in Outside Sales based in Memphis, TN. The position will work with industrial customers in the area promoting and supporting overpressure protection, valves and automation, instrumentation, filtration, and field services. The position may have some overnight travel. The individual will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts as well as developing new accounts. Requirements:
Valid Driver's License- Minimum 4 years industrial sales experience in the Memphis area
- Ability to interpret technical sales brochures and present to customers
- Drive to work at customers' facilities in loud areas, sometimes climb ladders and work at high elevations
- Occasional overnight travel
- Adhere to customers' and TVI's safety protocols
