Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of property management, ensuring that all aspects of property maintenance, tenant relations, and administrative tasks are handled efficiently. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and file management systems.
- Support lease administration by preparing contracts and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Utilize Yardi software for property management tasks, including tracking tenant information and financial data.
- Coordinate facilities management activities to ensure the property is well-maintained and operational.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants through effective customer relationship management.
- Assist in sales efforts related to leasing vacant units and promoting property amenities.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to oversee maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the Property Manager as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in real estate administration or property management is preferred.
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective file management and data entry.
- Knowledge of contract law as it pertains to leasing agreements is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with tenants and vendors.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of facilities management principles is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
