Job Summary-
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Database & Procurement Specialist with strong experience in Procore and construction data management. This role will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and optimizing our project databases, as well as supporting procurement processes across multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, improving reporting efficiency, and streamlining communication between field teams, vendors, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate project data within Procore, including drawings, submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and change orders.
- Develop, manage, and regularly update internal databases for tracking budgets, materials, and subcontractor information.
- Assist in setting up new projects in Procore and ensuring data consistency across all active projects.
- Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making by project managers, estimators, and the finance team.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with site teams to gather real-time updates and reflect accurate data in centralized systems.
- Provide user support and basic training for staff on Procore data workflows and procurement tracking.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2 years) in Procore platform usage, especially for project management and procurement workflows.
- 3 years of experience in construction database management, procurement, or project coordination.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.); experience with SQL or other data systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of construction industry practices, especially around procurement and document control.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
