Department: Operations
Reporting Relationship: Shift Leader & General Manager
Primary Role: A Team Member functions primarily as the main connection between Jamba Juice and the customer. Team Members are responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience and quality products.
Essential Functions:
General
- Deliver the ultimate customer service experience and impressions of the Jamba brand.
Able to clearly and concisely communicate product knowledge and information to all customers
- Responsible for customer product and service standards.
- Foster an environment for team work.
- Promote company initiatives and sales goals.
- Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to insure effective shift operations.
Customer Service
- Responsible for delivering an exceptional customer in store experience.
- Execute customer service standards through the utilization of F.I.B.E.R. & principles of Jamba on Stage *Greet & Thank every customer with a smile & eye contact
- Recommend appropriate product to meet customers’ needs *Enhance customer experience through engagement and sampling & use of banana-man suit.
Operations
- Execute quality store operations
- Clean blenders, small wares, merchandise, bathrooms, facilities as necessary
- Conduct frequent customer walks & use of the excellence log
- Must be able to operate food preparation machinery *Stocking of all supplies
- Respond to directions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Adhere to all Jamba safety and security guidelines while respecting Jamba property.
Business Management
- Provide a healthy consistent product
- Make and serve a “PERFECT” smoothie & all Jamba’s products to specification
- Follows health and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Executes proper portion control with all ingredients
- Must be able to operate cash register & handle cash transactions while adhering to Jamba Juice cash handling policies
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week AND a minimum of 3 days per week
- Embodies Jamba culture & values-will make a good representative to the Jamba brand (i.e. energy, fun, self-starter)
- Must be able to life 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, scoop through-out the assigned shift
- Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40 to -10 degrees F

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $11.35 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
