Job Overview

Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on areas such as PTSD care, chronic pain counseling, and crisis intervention.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with organizational policies.
Experience
- A degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in outpatient or inpatient settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and crisis intervention strategies is essential.
- Skills in individual group counseling and therapy techniques are highly desirable.
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding various cultural backgrounds is a plus.
- Certification or licensure as a counselor or therapist is preferred but not mandatory.
