Our Extrusion Process Engineer will contribute to the design, development, production, and optimization of extrusion processes for medical device components.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and optimize extrusion processes to meet design specifications and performance criteria.
- Provide engineering support for extrusion equipment and tooling across manufacturing, quality, and sales operations.
- Lead equipment setup, calibration, and operation, optimizing extrusion parameters to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Design and develop tooling, equipment, and cost-saving initiatives for production.
- Conduct process validation, testing, and documentation activities.
- Implement and maintain process control systems to ensure consistency and adherence to tight tolerances.
- Collaborate with R&D and product development teams on material selection, prototypes, and statistical analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve extrusion process issues, ensuring minimal downtime and waste.
- Stay updated on advancements in extrusion technologies and materials.
- Supervise technicians and operators.
- Participate in PTEE Ram Extrusion activities.
- Attend and contribute to meetings and task force groups to integrate activities and resolve challenges.
