The Warranty Processor is responsible for writing, processing and following up on all John Deere warranty claims to maximize the amount of warranty revenue recovered. This person communicates warranty processes, policies, PIPs, coverage and allowable repair times with JRE service personnel. The Warranty Processor builds strong working relationships with JRE service managers and all John Deere warranty personnel and MPSOs to facilitate quick and timely payments of warranty claims and resolutions to all warranty related issues.
As a Warranty Processor, your more typical responsibilities will include:
- Process all warranty claims within designated time frame
- Maintain acceptable warranty recovery rates (Ind 100% / Ag 85-90%) while striving to increase both
- Work with Service Managers to receive all warranty work orders within 10 days of last labor posting
- Close and process all warranty work orders within 10 days of receiving from Service Manager
- Update warranty log weekly
- Maintain a minimum of 97% PIP completion rate
- Coordinate and follow up John Deere RGA requests with JRE branches
Requirements include:
- Completion of warranty coursework on JDU.
- Completion of level 1 tech certification.
- Computer skills - Microsoft Office to include Excel.
- Research ability and knowledge of resources. Writing and communication skills.
- Understands and promotes delivering the best experience to the customer.
- Listens and communicates well with others within and outside of JRE.
