Scope of Position:
The IT Support Analyst is responsible for managing and resolving IT help desk tickets, providing technical support to end-users, and ensuring smooth operation of business applications. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with system maintenance, and supporting various IT-related projects. As a liaison for department stakeholders, understanding departmental processes is key. The role helps ensure adherence to documented processes and procedures while solving any issues that arise to help the business achieve its goals.
Scope of Position:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve IT help desk tickets, providing first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, including network issues, and provide solutions to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components.
Ensure system and data security through the use of antivirus software and encryption.
Monitor system performance and address any issues or problems that arise.
Manage system backups and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
Document procedures, operations, and issues for future reference.
Test and evaluate new technology for possible implementation.
Communicate technical details to non-technical staff or clients.
Coordinate with vendors for the repair of system malfunctions.
Ensure data entry into business applications is clean, organized, and follows correct processes.
Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress and challenges.
Conduct basic data analysis to support decision-making processes.
Skills/Qualifications:
Basic understanding of IT support methodologies and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Requirements: Must have IT focused business degree or equivalent experience. Strong analytical and organizational skills, Ability to interact with internal and external partners.
