Key Responsibilities :
- Risk Evaluation : Assess, approve, modify, or decline insurance applications based on company guidelines and detailed analysis of risk factors such as loss history and the nature of the business.
- Coverage Decisions : Determine appropriate coverage options and premiums, documenting exceptions and providing thorough justifications for decisions.
- Broker Relationships : Develop and maintain strong connections with wholesale and retail brokers to solicit new and renewal business opportunities.
- Communication and Resolution : Clearly communicate underwriting decisions and address concerns or questions from customers and brokers.
- Compliance and Review : Participate in audits and ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, contributing to process improvements when necessary.
