Job Summary:
The IT Administrator will oversee all IT operations, cybersecurity, and infrastructure for our manufacturing facility, ensuring high system uptime and quality service for end users. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving IT processes, securing company data, and managing critical systems, including all network infrastructure, Windows Servers and workstations, Office 365, VoIP system, security cameras, backups, mobile devices, printers, CNC system communications, software, and hardware. Additionally, this role will provide IT support and oversight for our sister company in Thailand.
A key aspect of this role is risk management, ensuring IT security, data integrity, and operational continuity while mitigating potential vulnerabilities that could disrupt business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Operations & Systems Management
- · Manage and maintain all IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- · Implement and oversee IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- · Maintain a comprehensive ticketing system to document and track IT activities, incidents, and resolutions.
- · Ensure efficient IT processes that support manufacturing operations, minimizing disruption and maximizing productivity.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- · Develop and implement IT risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats to systems, data, and operations.
- · Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to proactively address security risks.
- · Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies to protect company data and IT assets.
- · Monitor and address security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents proactively.
- · Ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations including NIST 800-171 and CMMC.
- · Manage data backup and disaster recovery plans, ensuring business continuity in the event of cyberattacks, hardware failures, or natural disasters.
- · Develop and enforce incident response procedures to minimize impact and recovery time in case of IT security breaches or system failures.
Network & Infrastructure Management
- · Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems.
- · Manage and troubleshoot connectivity issues, including CNC system communications.
- · Maintain VoIP phone systems, security cameras, and mobile device management.
- · Ensure network security, uptime, and performance optimization through proactive monitoring and system improvements.
End-User Support & Service Quality
- · Provide technical support for employees, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient issue resolution.
- · Manage IT assets, including hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices.
- · Train and assist users with IT-related tools and security awareness to reduce human-related cyber risks.
Collaboration & International Support
- · Support IT operations for the sister company in Thailand, ensuring consistency in systems, security, and processes.
- · Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and internal teams for IT solutions and improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- · 5 years of IT management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- · Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, IT risk management, and compliance standards.
- · Hands-on experience with network administration, Office 365, VoIP systems, and backup solutions.
- · Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems and IT documentation.
- · Knowledge of CNC machine communications, security camera systems, and mobile device management.
- · Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- · Experience managing multi-site IT operations, preferably in international settings.
Preferred Certifications:
- · CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security (Cybersecurity & Risk Management)
- · CCNA / Network (Networking)
- · ITIL Certification (IT Service Management)
- · Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Associate
