This full-time position is crucial in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. The role requires availability Monday to Friday, from 5 : 30 AM to 2 : 00 PM, with a rotating Saturday shift. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and committed to enhancing the patient experience through excellent communication and service.Responsibilities : Patient Care : Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.Schedule and manage patient appointments.Collect and verify patient information, including insurance and demographic details.Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms.Collect co-payments and outstanding balances.Administrative Duties : Answer and route incoming calls.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Assist with various clerical tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry.Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.Teamwork and Communication : Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.Participate in team meetings and training sessions.What are the Required Qualifications for this position?High School Diploma or equivalentTwo (2) years of customer serviceBasic money handling / management, and office equipment experienceCPR / First Aide Certification or ability to complete employer provided training upon hireUnderstands and adheres to state (RCW, WAC) and federal confidentiality regulations (42 CFR part 2)Computer proficiency in Microsoft SuiteExceptional interpersonal skills including effective verbal and written communicationExcellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasksMust be able to successfully pass criminal background investigationUphold all current vaccine requirements for employmentWhat are the Preferred Qualifications for this position?Associates DegreeWashington State Medical Assistant Certification eligibility for level A.
