We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Parking Garage Manager to oversee daily operations at our parking facility. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient management of all aspects of the parking garage, including customer service, staffing, security, and facility maintenance.
Responsibilities :
Oversee day-to-day operations of the parking garage, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure smooth traffic flow and efficient use of space.Monitor and manage parking inventory to maximize revenue and space utilization.Manage claims process, limit liability and maintain overall safety in the facilityAssist in setup of special event parking programsCustomer Service :Provide exceptional customer service to patrons, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.Staff Supervision :Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise parking attendants and other staff members.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.Financial Management :Monitor revenue collection, ensure accurate accounting procedures, and prepare financial reports.
Assist in collecting, recording and depositing revenues received at the facilityImplement pricing strategies and promotions to optimize revenue generation.Safety and Security :Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and vehicles.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures.Facility Maintenance :Coordinate maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades as necessary.
Ensure cleanliness and attractiveness of the parking garage and surrounding areas.Compliance :Ensure compliance with local regulations, parking laws, and company policies.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.Requirements :
Proven experience as a Parking Garage Manager or similar role, with a track record of operational excellence.Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Knowledge of parking management software and systems.Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.Understanding of financial principles and budget management.High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in business administration or a related field is a plus.Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
