Full time, benefited position working 80 hours every two week pay period. Days of work are Monday-Friday with hours of 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm. However, some events will require evening and weekend work.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The media and public relations specialist is responsible for creating and capturing opportunities to tell JRMC's legendary story with photos, story writing, press releases, public speaking, events, video production and guiding all social and other digital media.
This role captains copywriting, media relations, media buying and is responsible for developing, growing, maintaining and utilizing customer relationship (database) tools to communicate with existing and potential JRMC loyalists.
The media and public relations specialist is responsible for ensuring the JRMC brand and standard style guide, voice and focus are enforced in all material.

- Implement and oversee customer relationship manager (CRM)

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION :
PREPARATION AND TRAINING - Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related areaWORK EXPERIENCE - Work requires one to three years of experience in marketing, communications, event planning, public speaking, fundraising or similar field which builds and maintains relationships. Must have excellent planning, organization, communication, and follow-up skills. Strong attention to detail is a must. Experience with writing, website updates, design programs such as the Adobe Creative Suite are requiredATTENDANCE - Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility of each employee at JRMC.
